zebra: that's what I found it from the net. I think the search bar call "NERO SCOUT" & found it from Nero website.

You can either disable Nero Scout completly or you can only remove the “search” option from the task bar.
Open „My Computer“, make a right click on "Nero Scout", select "options".
Uncheck the box “enable Nero Scout” in order to disable Nero Scout.
If you want to remove Nero Scout from the task bar, uncheck the box „Show NeroDesktop Search“.

This does not get rid of the tray icon. This only gets rid of the icon in My Computer. You should be able to right-click on the tray icon and disable that version of scout from there.
Click Start > Run, and type:
regsvr32 /u "%commonprogramfiles%\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll"
To undo (put it back) :
regsvr32 "%commonprogramfiles%\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll"
This will not cause any harm.
