telus is easy, call them and tell them to send again or you will disconnect your service!
costco: you can't just call them, they won't do anything
go to the store, talk to the manager..... see if he can replace another set for you, sure, the more expensive set la
tell him what is you get into accident becoz of no winter tires.....
don't ask for refund ah.. coz it's really hard to buy winter tires now

Over the past few years there have been numerous occasions where staff have inadvertently called the City of Edmonton Emergency Response Department (911) from the Colt WorleyParsons offices. When they realized their error, they immediately hung up. The operators at "911" are obligated to follow up on the call and will immediately call our office to find out if there is an actual emergency - and in most cases, emergency crews have been dispatched to our offices!
If you find yourself in a situation where you have inadvertently called "911", please remain on the line and explain to the operator that you have made an error. There will be no consequences, no harm done and there will be no un-necessary dispatch of emergency crews.  When an emergency crew responds to a "false alarm", it has potential to create a situation where an actual emergency may not get the immediate response it requires due to crews being tied up on the false call.
Thanks for your assistance in this very serious matter.

Please note that we are following up on a process to change the "outside line access" from "9" to another number.  This may help eliminate some of the inadvertent calls to "911".  We will keep you posted of any changes.
