Mickey, about the investigation.  Just want to confirm something here:  The test objects that you suggest me to use are 衛蘭 > 男人信甚麼 and 李克勤 > 罪人 .  The I will use IE8 Version 8.0.7600.16385 to test.  Two question for you...do you mean when you click on  罪人.mp3, a box will pop out to ask you for "Open" or "Save" .  If you click "Open", your Windows media play can't play the song automatically, but 男人信甚麼 which will play on your media player with no problem?  OR do you mean you can't play 罪人.mp3 after you save it on your HD.  Please let me know.

ben, no.  forget about iEar for now.  I just played the songs directly in windows, and one can be played in wmp and one can't.  I think it is a codec issue but i don't understand why wmp codec can play one song but not the other.  I am curious to know what are the difference between the two sets of mp3 files.  all the songs in 衛蘭's album can be played in my wmp, but all the songs in 李克勤's album cannot.

ben, at the same time, 衛蘭's playlist work on iEar but 李克勤's playlist doesn't.  So I think if we can find out the difference and solve that wmp problem, we can solve the iEar problem too.
