i want to ask why my window cant open a avi video file every time i open the window hav stop me to do it plz help !!!!

the most common problem of failing to open an avi file is that you are missing the right codec.  Find and install a good codec pack should solve the problem.  I personally like K-lite Codec Pack, it is free for download.  But other people normall have other preferences.  Search in this forum for posts related to codec packs.
