似乎係你在 mysql set 左 password 而在 ch06-06.php 內當您 connect 去 db 時冇放入 password 所以佢唔得。

Second error: failed to select the database
Third error: failed to execute the query
forth error: failed to check the number of selected record.

you can simply fix this problem by make a good connection to the database. Just check the username and password.
