flora, u think 5 years? ok.  and egg thinks it will never that low. that's fine too.  So if i buy the hdd with my dell gift card (I have to pay abt $20 out of pocket), if egg is right, then I should get it now even if I don't need it now, because if I buy it when I need it in future, I will be paying more than $20; if flora is right, I should not get it if I will not use it in the next 5 years.  I think I will need it in 2 or 3 yrs max, so I should get it now.
