Co A lost some big clients and budget got cut, but it wasn't affecting Co B???? Then why can't just trasnfer you to Co B from the Co A at the beginning???? But maybe while you were claiming your EI, it showed that the wrong position been cut

This one isn't right.  In company A right now...I am the only IT guy here.  I am here to take care of 60 people in company A.  My boss and the other 3 IT guys are working at company B (downtown location) and they are serving 250 people over there.  In company A, there are many different kinds of managers (creative director, publish manager, and blah blah blah...).  They don't need to report to me, because they are in different fields.  But anything that they need or request which related to IT...they need to ask me first or get opinion from me.  So.....am i the highest in company A?  Ha Ha Ha....i don't know

Ah.  I like Flora's question.  Even Co A is under Co B...but they still have their own clients.  Some business and HR are independent, and they can't merge like that before.  By the way, i should make this clear....At the end of 2010 (when i got lay off from Co A)...Co B still not Co A's  母公司.  This relationship happened after i left....
