oh i see what you mean now! It's like: if I think I am handsome, should I tell people that "I think I am quite handsome" or I should just be humble and say "nah, I am so so"?
something along the line...
examples:
- i remember watching Taiwanese 星光大道 earlier, with 蕭敬騰 as the challenger to previous winner 楊宗緯.
while the show host was introducing 蕭敬騰, yet 楊宗緯's facial expression was also caught on screen, it appeared to me as if he was thinking "WTF...how dare you to challenge me?" (apparently he wasn't aware that he was being shot at the moment)
later when asked how would he react to the contender's challenge, 楊宗緯 humbly and softly (with his head tilting downward) expressed his acceptance of it.....真係 "攞你命3000".
- i still recall watching Miss HK 1976 as a kid (yeah, really. lol) Winner - Rowena Lam 林良蕙's expressively animated reaction upon hearing the annoucement of her crown was heavily criticized at the time...
I guess anything out of the social norm (good or bad) is bounded to be criticized
but there are differences between troublemaker and maverick.
here i go again, expressing my alternative view points and sh_t.....YUP. lol
