尋日我俾個客激死左.....事源....
我 started shift at 2pm, one of my colleague told me that I need to get the pre-authorization from travelocity.......coz of
個客係 travelocity 訂酒店, 咁黎到我哋 hotel check-in, said the hotel room has been paid for...however, on our notification it said the credit card gtd.....so which mean we didn't receive anything said been pre-paid.....
then of cause I call to travelocity to speak with one of the agent about this reservation, then I told the agent the fact....1st time he said the reservation been pre-paid....but coz I have other guests in front ofme, so I put him on hold....after few mins, I speak to him again...he told me he made the mistake, and I'm rite (which is the reservation didn't pre-pay), then I told him to speak to our guest....
then few hrs later which is at nite (I think the guest contacted his travel agent), the agent from travelocity called here and regarding that f****** reservation...now then of coz I repeated the same thing to him....and he started argued with me...asking how long do I work here, and any manager on duty blah blah blah.....and I said no manager onsite, and I'm the only one working....and on that time I being mad, so nicely ask him to put on hold....then the funny thing happen...
I called to travelocity's customer service line...and I told that person to checked the reservation for me....and I told him the same story again, then of coz he told me the same answer....room been pre-paid...then I told him I talked to the agent this afternoon and he confirmed that the room hadn't been pay.....then he said no....then coz I don'twanna argue with him again, so I said, then can you please fax the authorized letter that I can charge the credit card that on file...he said he will fax to me, and I'll receive it in 5 to 10 mins....so I wait....
after I rec'd the letter, I speak back to that guest's agent, and I said,thank you for holding, may you please fax the authorized letter to methat I can charge the credit card on file, and he said NO, YOU HAVE IT ON FILE! (I don't really wanna argue with him, coz common sense, on my side, it just said credit card gtd the reservation, no payment rec'd, so if 3rd party pay, I need thing to prove I can charge....), then I said, ok, I'll charge the rm & tax on the cc on file (& I said in my mind, I don't care, as long as I have the letter coz he didn't know I already get the authorized letter from other agent) but the guest still need to pay for incidental..then we all hang up.
The guest came down and make sure everything, and I said "yes, travelocity pay for room & tax, and you responsible for incidental charges, so we still hold the amt on your credit card for secure...and he asked how much do we secure, I said around $180 to $200, and he said it still tight his money, and I explained (actually I don't care) we still need to secure the incidental charges, and when you check out, the money will be released.
sorry for the long story.....but just wanna share this with you guys that's why I said some western ppl think so straightly
