the other pc is 2000pro,the A:driver right click and under format options, is no "create an MS-DOS startup disk".How can I do??

And I clean up the KB today,the result is still the same.
When I boot up the pc,am I insert the update BIOS disk and then update??or has some process??

W2K is a very stupid OS. It can't create DOS boot up disk. Can you find any PC running Win98, WinME or WinXP?

Cannot emial the DOS command to you because some DOS system file you can't copy to a floppy disk.

If you without DOS bootup, nothing you can do ...

My dynabook is XP,that mean I need a XP bootup disk,I think.
I have another pc but that one is  a W2K,so I cannot make a bootup disk by myself.

I see.... that's OK, as long as that a DOS bootup disk, it will be fine!! because you just using that for BIOS update only, not access system files.

as what Ultraegg said, stuck keys/ dirty keyboard is the major cause.  This model seems not easy to find the replacement keyboard, if possible keyboard replacement is the best solution.

thanks a lot.I will try to download the DOS file to boot my pc and update the BIOS.
I want to confirm one thing,when I can boot up my pc,I take out the bootup disk and insert the update BIOS disk,right??!(because I am afraid when I restart the pc,the same problem will come.)

I'll suggest you download the DOS bootup file and copy the BIOS update file in the same diskette, then insert the diskette and bootup to DOS mode. In DOS mode run the BIOS update program and follow the on screen instruction to complete the process.

Thank you.I tried to copy to floppy disk but failed as I use W2K pc.
I downloaded the xpquick.exe which you told me the site(www.bootdisk.com),but cannot copy to floppy disk......
Maybe I do that by the other pc.(I mean my friend pc)

yes, try to create the boot disk from your friend's PC and wish it can help you to fix the problem. Usually, laptop is hart to fix the problem over the phone/net, but let me know and I'll try my best to help you. Good luck!!
