I don't know I post here is right or not.If not,sorry!!!
I forgot to pay the domain fee,so my homepage cannot see now.
Let say the url is www.abc.com
And I have another url can see that which provide by the server company.
that is abc.server.com(of course that is not release for public)
Even i pay now,that need three days to recovery.....
I want to know that can I write temp page to auto jump the server side(url).
or is there any method can make that work for public.
hope know what I am saying.

You may create a default html page, place it in the web root directory of abc.server.com, and use the meta tag to redirect user from one page to any where.  Put the meta tag in your head tag.  Example as follow:


"0" is the number of seconds before redirecting.  "0" means immediately.

You said you forgot to pay for the domain fee?  That means abc.com no longer works?  In that case, you should redirect users using the IP address:

Hmm... maybe I misunderstood.  Are www.abc.com and www.server.com both point to the same server (same IP) and same web root?  If so, then how did you get to the forum using abc.com before?  If it was http://www.abc.com/forum, then you should be able to get to it by http://www.server.com/forum.  No need to do any redirect.

No problems about asking questions.  If the problem has not been solved, asking questions can help us understand your problem.  

Was the DNS mapping for www.server.com working?  Did you try to place a static html page (e.g., xxx.html) on your server web root and see if you can get to it by http://www.server.com/xxx.html ?

If that works, then you should able to temporarily replace www.abc.com with www.server.com until abc.com is back up.  But if your forum is using hardcoded url to abc.com, then u will have problems navigating.

i believe what he is saying is that he want to redirect from www.abc.com to his server-sided page since ppl will go in abc.com
there is noway to do this if the server has already completely closed down the domain until they re-open it since ppl is accessing www.abc.com not ur server-sided page
unless ppl don't access www.abc.com directly, for example, if ppl go to abc.com through redirection like hyperlink, then u can change the address of the hyperlink to another page first, which this page will contains content that will redirect them to ur server-sided page
however, there is also another problem for redirecting to ur server-sided page, and that is the only way to do this is to hardcode ur username and password in the redirecting page, so that everyone can login to ur domain in order to display ur server-sided page, but obviously as u can see, ppl can easy gain ur login information if u did that

Both of the url are at the same root.
I applied a domain from a company and deal the server with another company.Then just fill in the DNS details which provide by domain company to the server side.Public just can see the abc.com
Because the server company also provide a domain abc.server.com,so I can see even the domain for public was down,of course forum also can see.As 1022292057 said I can do is just wait for the domain re-open.
Actually,the site is my friend.He call help,but I was busy and lazy,so I call help over here.He paid the money after that and is ok now.
Even this time is not my problem,I am very happy I can meet a nice guy 1022292057.mickeyGoUp also is a nice guy,always help the other guys and so pro. really just a IBM shop guy???
