that made at least two people here at lipscorner, maybe you could consider posting a thread such as "Mahjong 101: An Introduction Course" for those of us to learn more about the traditional Chinese/HK local culture? (no joke)

Teaching you guys? I lost all my confidence from losing to my son, lol!!! True, when my wife gave birth to my first child, one of our family friends joked about the most important thing is to teach our ABC kids how to play mahjong. 1st, it's one of the most popular games amongst chinese gathering . 2nd, not like hk or china, in us, you don't worry your kids playing it at young age for money since they rarely get enough peers to play. 3rd and most important thing, how can u get them spending hours with you with close interactions? Thus, that was the longest time I can recall that my daughter and son spoke Cantonese to me!!!
And we don't don't use chips!!

here is a good opportunity to regain your confidence and the crown of mahjong in the household from your foe "竹升不敗"...by sharing the art of mahjong with us...man, i can BS all day. LOL

you will get to learn what your future son-in-law is really made of at the mahjong table, so they say.
