Another reason why Netbeans is getting more and more popular is because it is free.  I have used it two years ago on one project.  But again, someone else was taking care of the GUI part, I only work on creating the core classes and codes.  So I think you are more familiar with Netbeans than I do.    And at work we are using Websphere Studio (in version 6 they changed name to Rational Application Developer) as the IDE, which is based on Eclipse.

If you can read/speak chinese, you can learn to type too.  I use 廣東拼音, which is by far the easiest input method for me.  I don't have to remember how to write the characters, all I need to remember is how to pronouce.

Enterprise Java Beans?  That will be fun.  We used that in previous projects just for the sake of trying it out.  

how do I install or what kind of software do I need for 廣東拼音?

I am using NJStar Communicator.  And you will see an icon at the lower right corner (next to the clock).  Right click on it, and select "NJStar Chinese Input", another bar will pop up.  Click on the "ascii" button on the left, select Other Methods and you can choose 廣東拼音 in there.

Play with it and let us know if you have trouble using it.

哈哈!! 恭喜恭喜!!  打打下就慣架喇!!  仲有﹐您常用既字佢會慢慢 "移" 到前頭﹐方便您唔洗跳咁多頁。 例如個 "你" 字﹐開頭係響第二頁架﹐而家係去左第一頁既第一二個字。 (In case 您未發現﹐當個拼音有多過一頁既字時﹐按 "." 可以跳去下一頁。)  話時話﹐有 d 字係唔識得移去前面既﹐例如個 "冇" 字﹐永遠都係響第五頁既第 8 或 9 個字... 唔明。  -__-

仲有兩個 short cut keys﹐就係 Shift-Space 去列出您剛剛打過既字﹔ 同埋 Ctrl-Space 去轉換 廣東拼音 同 Ascii。
