This family-friendly casual fine dining establishment was started by famed restaurateurs and brothers-in-law Eddy Marlet and Evangelos Loukatos in 1988. They had worked together since the late 60's to make Seniors a landmark at Yonge and St Clair before heading north. Eddy has since retired but the tradition continues with Evangelos, now joined by his son Gerry.

While Eddy's offers a full menu with choices for every taste, the steaks and prime rib are the foundation - prime USDA grade beef, aged to perfection (up to 60 days for optimum flavour and tenderness) and butchered right at the restaurant. Each steak is cut to order to ensure just the right amount of marbling, then grilled just the way you like it.

There are other specialities to be sure, including garlic bread, peppercorn sauce, terrasolata, 7 cheese garlicky dressing and a BBQ sauce made with fresh fruit. Clients have long demanded they all be sold for take-home.

The wine list is another time-honoured tradition, a respectable selection of reds and whites from around the world that have proven their worth as compliments to the menu.
