Oops.. let me take it back, the D-Link I was talking about is a wireless router, not a cable modem.    Sorry for the confusion.  When I had cable, Toshiba was the brand I was using.  I don't have much comment on that, it was working fine.  I always had bt speed problem from the router, not the modem.

I went back to rogers and ask for another modem, I get a new one again it is a motorola SB5101, but it is the same, nothing change! the bt dl speed is still 2-10kbs, so.... I think rogers is going to block my dl speed! nothing can do now! very disappointed!

also, suggest direct connect the modem with USB cable and try to BT again.

try using another BT client. As I know long time ago Rogers send warning letter to some peoples talking about BT download. Did you get that?

no, I didn't get any warning letter, you mentioned the another bt client, which one do u perfer? I am using the BT 0.6
