bascially there are 3 numbers on your tires
205/55/17 (for mine)
it means the width is 205mm, outer diameter - inner diameter of the tire is 55mm and 17 inches is the rim size
if you can find one matches your current one, it should be fine
however, if you are going deeper into it
you may want to look for the rating, like all-season, performace (racing), winter
most likely you will use all-season (better performace in rain) and long lasting
performace is for racing, it can go higher speed......
also, there are some for AWD, light trucks, and passenger cars, or racing cars.....
