I know that for sure in Canada, if u claim ur insurance even though it is not ur fault but still it will affect ur insurance rate.  It happened to me once, my mom's car was hit when she was going straight and the other car was turning left, even though it is not my mom's fault but we found out later that our insurance rate had been increased.  That's why in Canada, when people had minor car accident, most of us will just try to settle it within themselves instead of going to the insurance company.  Hope this won't apply to you la.  Good luck.

is in canada, toronto! My one is TD Meloche Monnex, but I am not sure your insurance co. you better make sure to ur insurance company before you make a claim

我問過燕梳公司我個 agent﹐佢話因為係 hit-n-run ﹐唔會加燕梳 (當然﹐我已經普晒警﹐有晒 reference number)。  會唔會美國唔同加拿大呢?

我以前抄過車﹐係我既 fault﹐燕梳公司後來有寄信通知我佢地會起我個 rate。 咁 ah_chu 你媽咪當年有無接到燕梳公司既加價通知架呢?  定係無通知既情況下加佢呢?

I believe what Pandora 26 said, If you claim, your insurance rates will  mostly increase
next year. Not only in U.S.and Canada, but also Europa.  I hope dat you've a beter
Insurance Co. than ours.

正常黎講hit&run如果捉唔到人係會加燕梳的，因為唔加既話個個炒車都報hit&run個燕梳賠都賠死。但係可能有d燕梳會鬆d，比你報1、2次唔加你燕梳甘...
