So I do feel blu ray is better than DVD.  But it still depends on the movie.....i think....i mean if you put Gone with the wind in a blu ray, will it better than DVD?  I don't know about this.

hmm...i c, assuming your observations are based on casual viewings...

i only saw blu ray disc movies at Circuit City once, and it was really impressive.

but the cost on a blu ray disc player was quite steep, over $300 or more in the past...

i've noticed the price has come down quite a bit lately, $200 range...

i even spotted a "magnavox" brand one for $120....that seems like a good deal for cheapo like me

That's why i got PS3, i can play games and watch blu ray movie.

By the way, blu ray movie is expensive too....so i only buy the movie that is good and i want to keep.

yeah, i know...there are some movies I would like to purchase and keep at the best quality available..

like WALL-E, and Monsters Inc....etc.

should be great to view those on blu ray disc.
