After connected the modem to the router, if the activity light on the modem is off, that indicates that the router is not drawing any traffic from the modem.  What about the DSL light and the Internet light?  Are they solid green?

If you just connect one computer directly to the modem, is the modem activity light on and can you get on the internet from that computer?

Also is it your first time to connect to rounter already have problem?  You can try to update the firmware for your rounter.  If you connect your modem to rounter or computer still have the same problem, call your ISP to replace your modem.

Yes , the DSL light and the Internet is light  Are they solid green , Only the Active is off,
At fisrt time I turn on Power the Active light is flag very fat about 10 to 20 min is turn off.

what is your rounter brand name, and model?  you can go to their web site to download the file, and get the help file for "how to update firmware".

Usually DSL is using PPPoE setting, and you must do some setting on your router.

Can you confirm is it using PPPoE? Also, may I know which router you're using?
