NoNo, just like me. I'm using Roger as well but long time ago, I buy back the motorola modem from Rogers. Even they offer couple time to upgrade a new modem as free, buy ingore them and they need to provide services to me.

Now you can try to upgrade the firmware for this modem and wish it can help.

I don't think rogers will let me to buy back the motorola one. Actually can I go to best buy or future shop to get another modem cable?

I didn't try that. Did you try call Rogers and switch to portable modem? Seem that one work with BT.

Try sreach from internet and find out any firmware for this modem, some time will work fine or better after upgrade.

do u know any firmware that can sugguest to me, I am not really familiar with that , and I don't know how to work with that firmware too! please teach me about this!

one more question is, which portable modem do u suggest? any brand names and model? how about linksys, is that one good?

you can find out more information from this website: http://forums.cable-modem.net/

It seems no firmware for this modem, but you can try call Rogers and see any other modem they can offer.

For BT, D-Link is the best one but over all I'll suggest go for Linksys.

I also voted for D-Link for BT. Linksys occasionally brought down my internet connection (BT was still running fine, but no other apps can get to the internet), but once I switched to D-Link, never happened again. One time I even got 600kB/s download speed! Of course that depends on the seeds too, but at least it was capable of going up to that speed.
