i use rogers cable too.. i got the same problem with you..

my friend told me use bt engine it help a lot.

last nite i use bt comet

and fleshget 1.82 to download bt same link ( same computer)

this morning I got 99% done on flashget downloads

only 20% ON bt comet with bt btengine

the other computer using bt comet with no btengine only got 3%

try using flash get for your bt download, it may help.

I tried BT engine ad seem not too much different, but flashget .. I know the new version support BT, is it working fine? Any different between BT or BTsprit ... etc?

for me some download on flashget 1.82 is batter than bt comet,

the only cons on flash get is limited to 8 jobs at one time and the time frame is 2 hrs with no downloads activies

Well, I have the similar problem that for no reason the BT is always at 0kps and I haver tried many ways and it still failed on me. I then give up Bicomet and switch to flashget v1.8.2 and it works just fine but they limit you to 8 download links at once. You can try that to see if it helps you.

i try that already.... not so good as 1.82

for 6 hrs. only downloaded  6kb...

and direct downloads.. pretty slow too...

I am okay with the direct download, it can up to 250kbps, however, no matter which version of BT, the max is only 10kbps, so I think I will give up the BT and change that to direct dl!

This is not a problem from your PC or modem at all.  It is the Roger Cable ISP that intentionally blocking BT downloading.  Many ISP doing this today...not only Roger Cable.
